Luc often has a camera in his hands, and not just the smartphone everyone has these days, even when he was just a teenager.
However, he only started to follow courses in photography in 2018 and really paid attention to a slightly more professional approach when going on “picture hunting” as from 2023.
He likes diverse types of photography although (country & city) landscapes and wildlife are his favorites.
Luc lives happily with Katrijn in Antwerp (Belgium) in a renovated cigarette factory where cigarettes were produced of the brand Araks. Hence the brand name for his photographic work.
He grew up in Congo, lived in many countries for several years among which Rwanda, Kenya and Egypt.
